After releasing one of the most anticipated sneakers of the year with the launch of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Banned" over the past weekend, the Jordan Brand looks to create an even bigger hype around one of its upcoming silhouettes with the announcement of the Air Jordan 4 "Wheat" iteration.

Taking cues from ever-popular 6-inch wheat Timberland boot, the Jordan Brand adds a wheat-colored leather upper to the entire canvas of the Air Jordan 4, a first for the Jordan Brand and the Air Jordan signature line. Removing the netting seen on the previous iterations of the AJ 4, the Jumpman keeps things basic, yet appealing with this new AJ 4 model. Adding a matching gum outsole to the bottom of the shoe, the sneaker incorporates Jordan branding on the tongue and heel of the shoe and is closed out by a pair of matching shoelaces.

The Air Jordan 4 "Wheat" will be extremely limited with only 9000 pairs said to be in production. Make sure to check back with XXL and Nike.com to find more information on this sneaker drop and further Jordan Brand releases.
