Nike Unveils Kobe 11 Carpe Diem

After Nike unveiled the Kobe 11 "Muse Pack" designed by Tinker hatfield, the Swoosh is back to present the latest Kobe 11 iteration with a popular colorway featured in previous Nike x Kobe silhouettes. Taking cues from the Zoom Kobe II "Carpe Diem," the brand adds a refreshing touch to the popular Kobe 11 sneaker.

Compromised of three main colorways - black, yellow and purple, this Nike Kobe 11 features a grid-like pattern canvas in black while the Swoosh includes yellow accents and the tongue and heel hits of purple. The silhouette also features an icy translucent outsole, giving the shoe an extra pop. While details remain vague on the shoe, the image above is the first glimpse we get at the eye-catching silhouette.

Along the lines of the Jordan III, the upcoming Kobe 11 sneaker showcases a black canvas with hints of red on the Swoosh and tongue. The second shoe in the Kobe 11 Muse pack features notable Jordan III details, including overall color blocking, perforations in the lower tongue and distinct red embroidery in the heel and tongue. Hatfield also added sharkskin-inspired heel counters as a tribute to Bryant’s fearlessness and appreciation for the mercurial creature.

The Nike Kobe 11 Carpe Diem Muse releases in limited quantities starting Saturday, May 21, at select Nike Basketball retailers around the globe.
