As far as young Chicago artists go, Chance The Rapper puts on for his city like no one else. And now, the former XXL Freshman is being rewarded by getting the chance to be a part of Chicago's sports legacy.

The 23-year-old rapper unveiled today (April 6) that he's partnered up with New Era Cap and designed three new hats for the Chicago White Sox. One of the three designs is even an ode to the musical group he's in - Donnie Trumpet & Social Experiment. Shooting a commercial for the new caps, young Chano debuts the three new designs and horses around U.S. Cellular Field testing out the new gear. "They work in the dugouts," smiles Chance after imitating a disgruntled baseball couch. Another shot shows the "Ultralight Beam" MC all the way up in the nosebleeds, proving "they work in the stands" in case consumers were worried.

It's a wonder he's had time to design three new caps. So far this year, Chance has made all the right moves. He appeared on fellow Chi-Town native Kanye West's highly-anticipated album The Life of Pablo and blew fans away with a scene-stealer of a verse on "Ultralight Beam." He also boasts an amazing feature on Macklemore's "Need To Know" off Mack's newest album This Unruly Mess I've Made, and to top all that off, Chance still hasn't even released a debut album himself. But what he is doing is gearing up to drop a third mixtape. We know this for sure because he's been previewing and performing new music off the project in concerts. He even said it's coming in the next month.

Chicago Sun Times reported that Chance will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the White Sox’s home opener on Friday (April 8) against the Oakland Athletics. And though the new caps aren't available to the public just yet, there's no doubt he'll be wearing one of the new designs on game day.
