While sneakerheads await the release of the rest of Jordan Brand sneakers for 2016, next year is already shaping up to be another stellar year for Michael Jordan's brand. With rumors circulating around the web of a possible Air Jordan XV release, images of the possible 2017 silhouette have surfaced online.

Last released in 2007, the NASA-inspired Air Jordan 15 first saw the light of day when Michael Jordan returned to the league from his retirement. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the silhouette has remained as one of the best from the Air Jordan sneaker line. The forthcoming 2017 version, will release in a black, variety red and red-anthracite colorway. Including the signature woven pattern on the upper and the cushioned collar on the front, this silhouette keeps the same aesthetics as its '07 release. Taking to Instagram earlier today, user @zSneakerHeadz posted a picture of the upcoming sneakers with the caption: "2017 Air Jordan Retro 15 Black/Varsity Red-Anthracite Spring 2017!!!!"

While the information behind the release of these sneakers still remains vague, stay tuned with XXL to find out the release details behind this 2017 Air Jordan 15 and the rest of Jordan Brand's sneaker releases. Check out the first image to surface of the shoe below.
