Reebok to Release Alien Stompers for Alien Day

"Alien Day" will be celebrated throughout the globe on Tuesday, April 26. To help celebrate the special occasion, American sportswear brand, Reebok, will release a commemorative set of kicks that will take people down memory lane. Reintroducing the high-top Alien Stompers, Reebok pays homage to actor Sigourney Weaver from the movie Aliens with this iconic silhouette.

Partnering up with 20th Century Fox, Reebok’s release of the Alien Stompers will mark the first time in several years the brand releases the shoe. The launch of the Alien-themed sneaker will include two silhouettes -a mid-top version and a high-top version. Set to be a limited edition release, the Alien Stompers will feature the same colorways and aesthetics as the shoe that was seen in the classic film. Both shoes will feature a velcro strap design and are dressed in three primary colorways - gym red, off-white and grey.

Originally released as limited edition sneaker a year after the movie Alien, the two versions of the upcoming Reebok Alien Stompers will be more accessible than the previous launch, but still limited in quantities. The two versions of the 2016 Reebok Alien Stompers will be available on Tuesday, April 26 at select Reebok retailers and at Reebok.com.
