Supermodels Wear Yeezy Season 2 for CR Fashion Book

Kanye West’s highly anticipated Yeezy Season 3 fashion show is only one day away and with the buzz surrounding ‘Ye’s next studio album and apparel collection, founder and editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book, Carine Roitfeld, has decided to jump on the Yeezy wave and dress 20 popular supermodels in nothing but Yeezy Season 2 clothing.

For the eighth issue of the CR Fashion Book, Roitfeld has recruited top models such as Gigi Hadid, Nina Agdal, Amina Blue, Joan Smalls, Irina Shayk, and others, for the the first ever model issue. Shot by renowned photographer Sante D’Orazio, the eighth issue of CR Fashion Book will include all 20 models sporting Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 2 collection in a 48-page fashion portfolio. In the publication's first preview of the spread, Roitfeld spoke on the idea and concept of the shoot.

"I am very loyal to models I like, from Julia my daughter and love forever, to my new girl Amina Blue. I decided to make this shoot very sexy, like the one I did with Steven Meisel for Pirelli—using oversized clothes and sportswear mixed with high heels by Gianvito Rossi, and reflecting the military mood of Kanye’s show. His show inspired me with the form of the girls too. They all looked tough, but sexy."

CR Fashion Book’s 48-page special featuring supermodels in Yeezy Season 2 is now available for preorder at CRFashionBookShop.com. The issue is set to hit newsstands on Friday, Feb. 26 and will retail for a suggested price of $30.
