Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro “Black Metallic” Releasing This Summer

One of the most coveted sneaker releases of 2016 will come courtesy of the Jordan Brand. Known to never disappoint sneakerheads, the Jumpman brand is set to bring back the classic Air Jordan 5 Retro in the popular colorway of “Black Metallic.”

First released in 1990 with iconic Nike Air logo on the heel, the Jordan Brand then went on to rerelease the shoe in ’07 and ’11 with the heel image featuring the Jumpman logo. The 2016 version of the silhouette will stay true to the OG model and return with a black nubuck upper with 3M reflective material on the tongue and midsole.

Last seen in 2011, the new and improved version of the shoe is set to drop on July 23, 2016. This Nike Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” will be available at select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers around the globe as well as online at Nike.com. The sneaker is said to retail for a suggested price of $225.
