Jaden Smith is the new face of the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2016 collection, but not in the way you might think. On Sunday (Jan. 3), the 17-year-old musician, actor and general cool kid was confirmed to be posing for Louis Vuitton's Women's Collection. Now he's making headlines for sporting the same clothing as the ladies -- he's wearing a skirt.

Smith, the son of famous rapper-turned-actor Will Smith, is seen posing with female models Jean Campbell, Sarah Brannon, and Rianne Van Rompaey in the SS16 Louis Vuitton ad campaign. He's photographed by Bruce Weber sporting a beaded, fringe-lined top, black skirt, boots and slim-fitting leather jacket.

The "Scarface" rapper shared one of the campaign shots from the collection, titled "Series 4," and thanked the French brand and their creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere for "the opportunity to impact this world."

Although the gender-bending choice has the famous teen trending on Twitter, Smith has been known to wear women's clothing and challenge fashion norms in the past. Let's keep in mind, this is the same kid who wore a white Batman suit to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's wedding in 2014.
