Asics Unveils Gel-Lyte III Valentine’s Day Sneaker

Following the release of the highly coveted sneaker between Bape and running shoe brand Asics, the Japanese sportswear company, founded by Kihachiro Onitsuka, is gearing up for the most romantic day of the year by unveiling their annual Valentine’s Day sneaker.

Themed around the Feast of Saint Valentine, the upcoming Asics Gel-Lyte III makes for a perfect gift on the day of lovers. Originally named after the special day, this Asics Gel-Lyte III is being dubbed as the “Strawberries and Cream” iteration. This pair of kicks features a pink nubuck upper with different variations of the pink colorway on the canvas. Hits of white are featured on the side stripes, heel and outsole of the show while a tri-color midsole includes a specked out finish that gives the shoe an eye-catching and appealing look.

While information on this release is being kept to a minimum, this Asics Gel-Lyte III “Strawberries and Cream” will be available at select Asics retailers starting Saturday, Feb. 6.
