Adidas Tubular Chinese New Year Collection

In honor of the Chinese New Year, Adidas will be releasing a set of all-red Tubular sneakers as part of its latest and upcoming collection. Themed around the year of the monkey, the Three Stripes will present with its new collection two new Tubular silhouettes while reintroducing the popular Tubular Runner a never-before-seen iteration.

With 2016 celebrating the year of the monkey, Adidas goes all-red with its Tubular pack. Consisting of the Adidas Tubular Runner, Adidas Tubular X and the brand new Adidas Tubular Doom, the Chinese New Year pack features all three sneakers dressed in a red tonal upper. Made up of a mesh and leather canvas, the sneakers eyelets are dipped in gold and include on each one a white Tubular outsole. Each shoe will be complimented with a monkey’s face on the heel to represent the year of the monkey according to the Chinese zodiac.

The Adidas Tubular Chinese New Year collection is a follow up to the brand's Chinese New Year Basketball collection, which was unveiled earlier this week (Jan.4). Available starting this January at select Adidas Originals locations and at Adidas.com the Adidas Tubular Chinese New Year collection will be a sought-after pack due to the popularity of all red sneakers.
