Kendrick Lamar and Reebok dropped the commercial for their collaborative project.

The commercial is a message for those who are moved "to do things a little different" and don't "sit idly by while the powers that be tell us how to live." Kendrick leads a group of people through the streets while they all rock the new Ventilators. "A wind of change is blowing in," said K-Dot as he stands in the middle of the crowd and admiring the rebellion he started.

Back in December, K-Dot announced the joint venture and unveiled the new Ventilator OG sneaker, commemorating the 25th anniversary of their iconic line. The To Pimp a Butterfly MC then released the Anthony Mandler-directed short film "I Am" to promote the new sneaker.

Kendrick may have another brand under his belt. New England Patriots' defensive end Chandler Jones recently shared plans to ask Patriots' Owner Robert Craft to bring Lamar on board as the Pats' global ambassador. Jones got the idea after seeing K-Dot's "King Kunta" video, where he sports a throwback Patriots jersey.

Check out the Reebok commercial above. K.Dot is the latest cover star for our Winter Issue and touches on a myriad of topics including sanity.

"What I do is for a greater purpose and we all need money and things like that to survive, but the energy around some of these spaces, it can draw you into a crazy place," he said. "And I’ve seen and heard some of the greats go out because of it. And I’m saying this right now to let everyone know, it’s real and you have to be mentally steady 100 percent in order to keep doing it at a high level and still maintain your sanity."
