As Nike and sneakerheads gear up for the second annual Air Max day on March 26, Nike has unveiled the very first Air Max sneaker, the Zero, created by Tinker Hatfield.

After three decades of dominance in the sneaker world, Nike has decided to make the very first Air Max prototype, Air Max Zero, available for sneakerheads all over the world. The shoe, which was originally designed by Tinker in 1985 will blend the heritage with today's technology for an advanced modern day silhouette. The Air Max Zero is reminiscent of the Air Max 1 model, which has become an American classic.

No word yet on when the Air Max Zero will officially release in retailers, but stay tuned with XXL for more details surrounding this much anticipated shoe.
