Adidas And Derrick Rose Unveil D Rose 5 Boost “Superstar” Edition

Adidas unveiled the latest colorway of the D Rose 5 Boost signature basketball shoe yesterday. The sneaker pays homage to one of adidas’ most iconic shoes, the Superstar.

The D Rose 5 Boost “Superstar” edition is highlighted by the iconic rubber shell-toe, which was featured on the original Superstar in 1969 for added durability. The upper features snakeskin texture throughout the shoe, while the Fit Cage and laces compliment in a cream color. The upper sits atop a full-length Boost midsole which provides more explosion and less weight on the shoe.

The adidas D Rose 5 Boost Superstar edition drops Feb. 12 for $140 at select adidas retailers and the brand's online shop.
