In 1988, the iconic movie Back To The Future II made its debut in movie theaters across the nation. In the film, Michael J. Fox sported the futuristic sneakers known as the Nike Air Mag. Fast forward to 2011, Nike auctioned 1,500 pairs of the Mag exclusively on eBay for the Michael J. Fox foundation. Plenty of sneakerheads were left without the kicks due to the high price range and the limited quantity, but the good folks over at Nike have heard the sneaker community's demand for the shoe and as a treat to Nike Mag lovers, the Swoosh will be relaunching the sneaker in 2015.

Tinker Hatfield, creator of the Nike Mag, spoke yesterday at the Agenda trade show about the innovative sneaker and confirmed that release will happen in 2015. Along with the editing news, Hatfield mentioned that the 2015 Mag will include power laces just like the original silhouette in the film. No official word on when this shoe will drop and how it will be released, but stay tuned with XXL for more details on this iconic sneaker.
