To the date, the most successful hip-hop artist with a signature sneaker line has been Kanye West. His Air Yeezy silhouette with Nike became widely acclaimed by sneakerheads and non-sneaker collectors, but after a fallout with the Swoosh Ye decided to take his Yeezy sneaker over to Nike's biggest competitor, adidas, who not only adds Ye to their roster of artists with sneakers, but also counts with the likes of Big Sean and Pharrell Williams.
