In the last couple of years A$AP Mob has taken the music industry and fashion world by storm, and as the collective gears up for the release of their forthcoming album, L.O.R.D., the fashion model of the New York group, A$AP Illz, has been staying busy in front of the cameras posing for the next DKNY campaign launching in fall 2014. With the leader of the Mob, A$AP Rocky, currently on several DKNY billboards all over the world, Illz looks to go international after the release of his campaign as well.

Previously, the Bronx native has appeared on lookbooks for brands like PYREX Vision and Stussy and even made his runway debut this year at the DKNY Fall/Winter 2014 show at New York Fashion Week. With many things in the works for the young L.O.R.D., we got a chance to catch up with Illz to find out his future plans and more.

Tell me about the most recent ad campaigns that you've been a part of.
Since the last fashion week in NYC, I've been doing another DKNY ad campaign that comes out in September, so be on the lookout for that. It features me, Rita Ora and a couple of other faces known in the model industry. I'm still independent as a model, so I haven't signed with an agency yet. I have a couple offers on the table right now, but it's who I feel most comfortable with at the end of the day.

What model agency would you prefer to sign to?
I want to sign with any international agency. We travel around the globe as A$AP Worldwide, so anywhere I go with the Mob I can always model and have work. I don't want to be in a set location, so it would give me the chance to be all over. I'd rather model for top brands like the Saint Laurent, Raf Simons, DKNY—brands like that.

What's been your favorite photo shoot or moment in the fashion industry?
The most enthusiastic one that I was really hyped off was the runway. It was my first time ever doing that. I've done plenty of shoots, but all of them are natural and cool to me, so being on the runway was something new. I was worried about a whole bunch of shit and very overwhelmed until the end of the runway, but everything went well.

What was the first shoot you ever did?
It's been a while. I've been doing shoots since the A.L.I.E.N. days. That was one of my first commercial shoots I ever did, and it was all over the internet. It even went to mainstream sites, and I was compensated for it, but I've been doing shoots for a minute. It just takes a little time to get recognized, but you just gotta stay with it and stay focused.

Can we expect you to create a clothing line of your own in the near future?
Oh, of course! I can't really talk about it too much, but it's coming. I'm also coming up with my chain line. It's all based 14 karat gold—no dip, no nothing—not selling people short, so it's a future piece. I just want to come out with something innovative and different.

Your favorite sneakers of all time?
I like the Jordan 3's from 2001 with the Nike logo in the back.

Any new brands that people should watch for?
I don't really name drop on brands. It's either you know your shit or you don't.

Will you be appearing on that forthcoming Mob album?
I can't tell you nothing expect for L.O.R.D.—you have to go buy it and find out!
