Even if you go back to his Reasonable Doubt days, Jay Z has always been infatuated with the gleaming shine of a nice watch. Now Jay Z is being given the chance to design his own custom timepieces as he is partnering with Swiss watchmakers Hublot for a new line of luxury watches.
Designed by Jay Z himself and produced by Hublot, The Shawn Carter by Hublot Classic Fusion will be available exclusively at luxury department story Barneys as part of Jay's holiday pop-up installation within the stores.
The luxury pieces will be available in two limited edition styles including black ceramic and yellow gold. Each mold will feature a limited run of pieces that will available at retail outlets. The black ceramic mold will have run of 25o pieces and retail at $17,900. While the t yellow gold model will have a run of just 100 pieces and carry a price tag of $33,900. Both models will be available on November 20 at Barneys and select Hublot retail outlets.
