Not long after announcing that he would be stepping back from acting and comedy, it seems like Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) is heading back to his roots with a new series for FX. According to Deadline, Glover is set to "write, executive produce and play the lead in a half-hour comedy" called Atlanta, which is currently in development. The series will be "set against the backdrop of the Atlanta music scene," which is something the Stone Mountain, Georgia native knows plenty about, as he's reportedly been spending a lot of time back home in recent months. In keeping with his return to film, Glover released a teaser last week for a short film called Clapping For The Wrong Reasons, which featured appearances from Trinidad Jame$ and Chance The Rapper. The full version of Clapping is slated to hit the web later this week.
