W Hotels Collaborates With Cope2, A’mare Stoudemire For Custom Skateboards

Some of hip-hop's biggest cultural ambassadors are teaming up to create custom skateboards for charity.

W Hotels of New York has teamed up with the charitable organization STOKED.org to launch "W Hotels Room and Boards"—a series of custom skateboards. The series is curated by filmmaker Ray Mendez and features designs from New York Knicks player Amar'e Stoudemire,  model Cara DeLevingne, graffiti artist Cope2, photographer/director David LaChapelle and designer Zana Bayne.

The project also finds Jah Jah of Ninjasonik jumping in the mix for a music video featuring him shredding Cope2's custom board through each of the W Hotels of New York. Check out more information about the series at the W Hotels' website.
