Ralph Lauren to Cease Production On Rugby Label?

A sad day for the prep world. After eight years of business, Rugby by Ralph Lauren will be shuttering its clothing line on February 2, 2013. Announced earlier today (November 2) on WWD, it was revealed that the preppy and popular collegiate wear, worn by many including rappers from Fabolous to Vado and more, will be closing its online store and 14 locations early next year. The company revealed that the discontinuation comes as they plan " to focus resources on higher growth."
