Almost two decades ago, Nike did the unthinkable and released Jordan 9 signature sneakers despite the fact that Michael Jordan—the greatest player in the game retired (for the first time)—would not be lacing them up. The Jordan 9 was the only shoe that Mike didn't wear during his legendary career with the Chicago Bulls but was still popular among fans.

On November 17th, the second of the two original colorways of the 9, the Olive, is set to return. The shoe retails at $160 and should be one of the most anticipated pre-Christmas releases. There are also hints that the Jordan 13 will be making a comeback this holiday season. Stay tuned to XXL's Good Life for more updates.—Eric Montgomery
