New Era Opens 11th Flagship Store in West Hollywood

New Era has headed west —and with a bang!

The international lifestyle brand opened its eleventh flagship store and first west coast retail space in West Hollywood on Saturday, December 10.

New Era kicked things off with a VIP party in-store on Thursday night with DJ C-Squared & DJ Clark Kent spinning on the 1s and 2s. The after party continued at The Beverly as Samantha Ronson blessed the club with her DJ skills.

On Saturday, the rest of LA joined in the party for the store’s opening at 11am. The first 100 people in line got hooked up with gift bags complete with New Era Los Angeles T-shirts, New Era Los Angeles snapbacks and VIP cards good for 30% off all year. Two out of the 100 bags included a $250 gift card and the most valuable bag of them all carried a $500 gift card and a one-on-one session with a New Era designer to create a special edition hat to be sold in-store.

New Era gave out crazy gifts all night long such as: four tickets to the LA Angels home opener game; four tickets to the LA Dodgers home opener game; two tickets to an LA Kings game; a custom-made Freqnt Flyr bike; Osa Koyama LA Dodgers cap pendants; and a set of 30 On-Field Baseball caps. Not too bad!

“We have completely re-energized our design concepts for our flagships,” said Cal Lawson, Director of Retail Operations, via a press release. “Our updated store concept allows for fully integrated merchandising of apparel, headwear and accessories. This leads the consumer through a clean, modern and consistent retail environment.”
