Back in early December, Wiz Khalifa's official DJ, DJ Bonics, suffered a heart attack despite being only 30-years-old. After fully recovering, he felt compelled to create the Bonics Heart Beats Foundation, an initiative to promote heart health and a healthy lifestyle, specifically targeting adults under the age of forty. He soon approached vitaminTHICK to collaborate on a T-shirt that illustrated one of the foundation's ideals: remaining youthful in both thoughts and actions.

The concept for the shirt, entitled “Kid@Heart,” is inspired by the importance of remaining youthful in both thoughts and actions, advice by which Bonics now lives. “When we were younger, we would run around and play as if we were invincible,” he said. “Too often as adults our health becomes an excuse to not be active or live a healthy lifestyle, which is exactly what we are hoping to change. With the vitaminTHICK brand being dedicated to the spirit of childhood, and the company having ties to Pittsburgh, I felt that this partnership would be perfectly aligned.”

On sale this Valentines Day, 100% of the proceeds from the shirt will go towards the Bonics Heart Beats Foundation, and will support community-oriented events promoting an active lifestyle this spring. You can get fly and support a good cause by copping one online at www.timebombshop.com, or in stores at Timebomb and Shop412 in Pittsburgh and Bodega in Boston. They'll retail for $26.
