By now, you’ve probably caught Kanye West’s 35-minute movie, “Runaway,” which features several songs from his upcoming album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, serving as the soundtrack.

The Fellini-inspired short begins with Griffin (West) running straight into his Phoenix played by rumored ex-girl Selita Ebanks. Fine and feathered, she’s the main focus of the film and Grif’s affection. In a live interview with MTV following the multi-channel premiere this past weekend, West confessed that he wanted, “Every girl I ever been in a relationship with to feel like a piece of her was being represented. And even for my mother to feel like a piece of her was being represented when she sees this." Considering the impressive roster of eye-candy tucked under Kanye's Dior Homme belt, we decided to decode “Runaway” and match the muse with their scene. —Nicole LoPresti

AMBER ROSE:
This bald-headed bombshell seems like the obvious choice of inspiration for the dinner scene where a man turns to Kanye and says, “Your girlfriend is beautiful. Do you know she’s a bird?” Kanye responds, “No, I hadn’t noticed”. Rose broke her silence this past weekend and thanked West (via Twitter) for showing her a whole new world.

The ex-MTV assistant was Kanye’s main squeeze for a year and a half. Of the relationship Brooke has said, “I’m trying to figure out who I am and I’m thrust into a situation where I’m being told who I am. He’d take me shopping. He got me a stylist.” As the video begins, we watch him rescue the Phoenix and bring her home. Captain save ‘em.

SUMEKE RAINEY:
Together for seven years, Rainey was West’s ride or die chick before the fame. Remember the lyrics from "Never Let Me Down"? “Nothin' sad as that day my girl father passed away/So I promise to Mr. Rainey, I'm gonna marry your daughter.” We all know that didn’t happen. After dinner, the Phoenix explains that the statues are phoenixes that turn to stone by society. The only way to avoid this fate is for her to burst into flames and return to her world. She tells Griffin: "Do you know what I hate most about your world? Anything that is different you try to change."
