A lot has gone on since Self Destruction. Let’s not attempt to recreate the old but create something new in honor of what came before; something relevant. The years have solidified a culture of violence that is going to be hard to penetrate.

I would also like to see real solutions presented to the people; not just a well off entertainer telling us to stop the violence on a PSA with out any real solutions or options as to how to accomplish such a thing.

These days you turn the other cheek; you’re getting shot in the face.

Everyone’s always talking about how “real” they are; this is an opportunity to have a real conversation with some real people. Let’s face it, real around the way shooters and hustlers think most rappers are full of shit. So there is a need to hit the prisons and get some of these big hustlers and killers involved. Some one may listen to real gangster before they’ll listen to someone that just plays gangsta’ for Viacom and Clear Channel.

Its cool that those artist have decided to join stop the violence movement, but its also sad that the two top artist(Lil Wayne, 50 Cent) are part of the reason the youth is somewhat corrupted. But, I hope others like kanye, Lupe, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Snoop, Nas, Little Brother, the game, and others join in. Even though its contradicting we need the main stream hardcore rappers because the children are gonna take it serious if its coming from them, but I better not hear jeezy coke rapping ass on this even though I like his music.
