50 Cent has denied rumors that he got into a physical altercation with actor Frank John Hughes on the set of Righteous Kill, the film he’s currently working on with screen legends Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Earlier this month, a story circulated on the internet that claimed 50 punched Hughes in the face after the actor confronted him about not knowing his lines. When questioned about the alleged scuffle by MTV News, 50 scoffed at the notion, explaining that a confrontation such as that would only serve to hurt his bottom line. "You know how much that would cost?" he explained to MTV News. "It was actually a fight scene in the film—so expand it, get a little bit of controversy going so people [will be] be interested." Curtis also opened up about working with two of the most respected actors in Hollywood, nothing that he feels he is holding his weight on set. "It was definitely cool just being around them, away from actually performing on camera," he told MTV. "De Niro, I've been to his house, met his wife. We've been to the firing range a couple times together." In the film, 50 plays a nightclub owner who becomes embroiled in two detectives’ (De Niro and Pacino) hunt for a serial killer. "I feel good about my performance," he said. "I want everybody to go see it and be excited." Righteous Killis scheduled for release in 2008.
