Happy 42nd birthday to Lil Jon!

Born in 1971, Lil Jon was raised in Atlanta. He formed The East Side Boyz and the group put out the album, Get Crunk, Who U Wit: Da Album, in 1997. The work produced two Billboard top 100 singles, “Who U Wit?” and “Shawty Freak a Lil’ Sumthin.’” The group went on to put out four more albums together.

A man of many talents, Lil Jon took to producing as well and brought the industry a string of hits, including “Salt Shaker” by Ying Yang Twins, and “Yeah!” by Usher.

In 2010, Lil Jon released Crunk Rock, his first solo effort. He is said to be working on a new solo album which is anticipated to be released in 2013.
