Black & brown people cannot wait on God anymore. Its time for our community's to demand more from our youth. We have to save ourselves like it has always been. Sitting in a church every Sunday talkin ish won't do a damn thing. Neither will hopeful thinking. Black people have a terminal mental diaease called mental enslavement. No one wants to talk more about that nor deal with it. Instead we come with other reasons.

Who really wanna change for the good or help somebody in need like the poor. very few men find it hard to stand up because they have nothing to live for or they dont know what love is. when theres no support in your state like programs that help people find work or get back on there feet because they been to prison, it gets hard. then violence is a option or criminal acts is a solution, but thats wrong. alot of people if they not really really crazy just wanna eat but they dont know how to the right way. so i do leave sum truth, dont give up and god is real and he will help the lost. you cant save nobody if u cant save yaself.

I sure do. Most of them have come from these situations, and instead of engaging in frivolous talk in their music promoting the negative images in these areas, they're addressing it in a serious manner. I'd like to see them address it more in their records, which Ice Cube and Ice T already do/did. We shouldn't trivialize rappers or whatever they embody, simply because a person believes rap isn't a legitimate form of art or music, or that we get caught up in only the commercial hip hop. Their word, to me at least, is more valuable than a politician, who might just say it to gain favor with the community.
