There are plenty of rappers I’m sure haven’t been influenced by Nas, therefore this is dumb article. Nas’ music has never been about shock value, but for quality. Illmatic wasn’t that popular when it was released so I doubt it started a trend of rappers looking for big name producers on their albums. “I Gave You Power” didn’t popularize concept songs or albums, people were doing that before Nas like it’s said. R. Kelly on the hook? Does it matter that he popularized or started this trend? Really? I’m pretty sure The Firm didn’t make other rappers to start supergroups considering it failed to live up to expectations, plus the Juice Crew was the first hip hop supergroup.

Honestly this is fucking reality right here. I love how if i told someone that Nas influenced eminem or was rapping with dre before him they’d laugh. He influenced the game so much without a doubt and besides Rakim he may be the most influential rapper of all time. Peace to his albums as well cause every single one is fire…Nastradamus aint even that bad and it gets hated on so hard. Nas is the greatest of all time no doubt.
