NOW do we agree that the label actually sold y’all a sh^t sandwich? Because when dudes were saying ‘Lasers’ was a bad album a lot of y’all were going in with the stanning dissing comments…

And EVERY label and business does what Atlantic did…try to incorporate their roster of artists and products with each other to keep the machine going…cross-selling…maximize profit.

Lupe, you’re losing points with this argument brah…if this is 100 and you flip the budget money back, drop them songs you wanted on a mixtape and name it ‘Laser Beams’ or something, and let us judge.

It’s about quantity for the record labels, not quality. If Lupe wanna make a career out of Hip-hop, it’s gonna be a major struggle. Otherwise, just go indy and try to make it on your own because these record labels are out for blood.
