Freshmen Show Photo Recap

Whether you were in the house or not for last night’s XXL Freshmen show, check out some of the memorable moments inside…

Last night at B.B. King’s in New York City, the XXL Freshmen held court in front of a packed house. With ten of this year’s eleven Freshmen taking the stage (we missed you Based God!), the showcase displayed the brimming talent of this year’s class. Special guests included Birdman, Rev Run, Pusha T, Big Sean and more during the four-hour concert. See below for photos from last night’s show and stay tuned to XXLMag.com throughout the day for more coverage of the #XXLFreshmenShow.

Show was super cool yela did his thing but the show highlights being there was Rev Run good music and Fred the Godson and Vado went ham

The reason Marshall wasn’t there is because… Well, he would’ve pretty much stole the show. It was about the freshman. Birdman is fucking garbage, and without Run, Diggy wouldn’t have even been on the cover, or anything for that matter. Yela and Mac are going places, the rest are far from a breath of fresh air, average at best, and not even close to original. But that’s the XXL way, ain’t it?

how do y’all know that if it wasn’t for Rev Run that his son wouldn’t be there?

for mufukkas who STAY saying “don’t hate”, y’all be HATING BIG TIME. Seems to me like y’all are JEALOUS ’cause he got bread and connects. He’s in a space where you wanna be, huh?

    Diggy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Lil’ B

AND Diggy’s DAD came to see his SON perform…SUPPORT…and y’all HATING on that…check yo’self fool…

How can you NOT say Meek Mill aint goin places when he just inked a deal wit Ross and MMG. He’s been around longer then Mac, wit the mixtapes and being in the streets to promote his music. Mac just caught a good break since Wiz and Pittsburgh been gettin a look! I aint taking nothing from Mac, cuz im a fan. But still I think Meek should be in discussion when it comes down to going anywhere being a 2011 XXL freshmen.. Big KRIT is my dude too! Yela is my fav outta them all tho! and Im from Philly! Meeks always gonna be my homie since were cool and shit.
