I’m not hatin’ on the South but Jeezy is a bum rapper. His lyrics are trash and his delivery and flows are elementary at best. I know he’s popular and sells a lot of records but who cares, this is hip hop not pop, selling records and gettin spins doesnt make you a dope rapper. How many of these Jeezy lovers can actually say if you took away dukes ad-libs and hot beats they would still like him as much as they do. Yeah the beats are hot, but he doesnt make the beats so he doesnt deserve the credit for them. Like I said, I dont hate the whole south but I hate the dudes thats makin hip hop a joke or a gimmick like Young Joc, DJ Unk, Dem Franchise Boys, and D4L. And I hate these guys that come out make a couple of “street” songs and get seriously overrated as artists. C’mon folks there are real artists out there that have been in the game for a long time, why do we keep supporting the fly by night artists that wont be around over the next couple of years. Some of my favorite artists are from the south T.I., Outkast, Ludacris, but stop givin so much credit to lyrical losers. Dudes like Jeezy and Lil’ Wayne (lies about age, had a ghostwriter) are seriously overrated, and if they really are the top dogs artistically like people try to make them out to be, the Nas is right Hip-hop is dead. Get ya minds right.
