Web Candy of the Week: Brittany Janelle

There's a fine line between sexy and sweet, but Brittany Janelle walks it beautifully. This northern California beauty hails from a place where all the leaves are brown, and the sky is gray, but she made quite the splash when she made her debut in Show Magazine #22. This stunning beauty took a few minutes of her time to talk to us about being an MMA ring girl, her wonderful experience with Show Magazine, and the best advice she'd ever received.

Tell us about what you do when you're not modeling. Where can we find you? What do you like to do?

When I'm not modeling, I'm practicing MMA, traveling, cooking, painting, keeping up on my makeup artistry, and being a ring girl.

What would you say was the best experience you had in modeling?

The best experience, thus far, has been shooting for Show Magazine. The professionalism is wonderful—both the photographer and the makeup team are amazing.

What is your biggest modeling accomplishment and why?

My biggest accomplishment is being from a small town in northern California and being able to be published, host events, have a website, and beginning to build a brand which has never been done before in my hometown.

Tell us the best advice you ever received.

The best advice I've ever received was to stay classy and true to yourself. Also, think about the big picture as opposed to the quick buck. Finally, to have longevity in the industry means to always keep them guessing and not overly-saturate the market.

What makes you stand out from all the models in your area?

I stand out because I have a different dynamic. I'm all-natural—no booty shots here. Not to dismiss those that do. I'm tattoo and piercing free, and am trying to bring back the sexy that was glamor modeling in its heyday, like the greats: Vanessa Veasley, Esther Baxter, and Vida Guerra.

What advice would you give to an aspiring model who wants to do what you do?

My advice is to stay positive have a goal and exceed it. Invest in your brand. If you don't do it, no one else will. —Bernadette Giacomazzo (@bgiacomazzo)
