Cassidy Released From Prison

On Thursday (March 2nd), Philadelphia rapper Cassidy was released from the city’s Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility after serving out eight months of an 11 to 23 month sentence. After providing the guns that were used to murder 22-year-old Desmond Hawkins and wound two others in April 2005, he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and negligence for his role in the crime.
