I agree, I got the blaqkout album, shit is poppin but you got to remember XXL is about selling covers not staying true to what readers/real music afficianados want thats why I dont waste my money anymore I can get all the shit they print online for free and, most critics have no musical talent so I wouldn’t take it to heart cause the artists dont (at least the smart one’s) I stick to the artist’s that have proven themselves reliable sources for music over the last 20 years I been listening to hip-hop. All these magazines need to just give it up soon no one who really matter will buy their shit cause at some point even the dumbasses will wake up.

I would have to agree with everyone, this album was a classic! I bought it without even knowing XXL reviewed it, if I would’ve read the review first I probably would’nt have bought it. He didn’t even mention one of my favorite tracks, “I’m the man”, that song stays on repeat while I’m lifting weights, I love screaming that shit in the gym, “I’m the muthafuckin’ man!”, also “All that I want” is smooth, my fiancee’ is from Texas, but I sent her that song via email while I’m stationed in Iraq, She loves it! Kurupt aint never left so who is he past his prime?!??!!? Great album!

Wow what is this album missing its not perfect but it should have gotten a better review. With all the bs thats getting put out this kurupt effort was a breath of fresh air. XXL step your game up listen to the album before you write a review

very true..thats exactly what im saying..you see the reviewer mentioned “blaqkout” which is one of 2009′s best albums period!!..he called it “stellar”..i would agree with that..but its funny that when the album came out XXL didnt even review it..XXL has a reputation for not reviewing west cost music.albums and mixtapes..the reviewer is a east coast cat..and he knows it would be blasphemy to even suggest that a eastcoast rap legend is over the hill..but yet a west coast rap legend can be..XXL hates westcoast rap..period
