Okay.

Young Money is tight, but dang. They all (almost) sound like Weezy or use the same sharpness or way of rhyming..they all mellow rap the same...except for Tyga and Yo Gotti. I mean look at Gucci Mane and Weezy, mellow but different to eachother. Nicki Minaj sounds like Weezy's sister, like she grew up listenning to Weezy. Tyga goes that route a lil bit in Breezy's Dueces, but that's dope.

All i'm saying is, if you gna be like someone, do it better...if you can't, stick to you.\

I'll give this cat a standing ovation becuz i couldnt have said it any better...i think famo covered all aspects.

I just got done listening to this entire Young "Mulaaaa" album & that was sum of the cheesiest, popcorn, dumb-down, albums I think I have ever listened to in my entire life. Im not gona say alot & go into depth of each & every song but gotdamn...is there niggaz that actually, literally bump this bullshit blasting out the whip or even in the house for that matter!

Shit was extremely mediocre..I cant see how the reviewer gave it a Large..when clearly this album is a Medium at very best. But i know nowdays Hip-Hop is a business & theres a lot of politics involved so to keep the wheels greased they didnt want to trash the album which may lose them future interviews & features with Young Money Artists...so thanks XXL for taking the cowards way out & trying to sell us sum bullshit so u can keep your industry connections open & happy....

P.S.....suck a fat one Chris Yuscavage...how long have u been listening to hip hop? or how long have u been in the pockets of the establishment trying to please ur masters. someone take their hand out this puppets back & bring in someone thats going to get down the the real shit fam!

One Luv mafuka...im out like ur girlz belly button!

Great complete review. Thought I was the only one. I guess Nas we right, Hip Hop is dead.

I dont even know any of these new rappers. I tried recently to get into it. No thanks. In the 90s this shit was original. All I hear are copy cats. I used to switch music tastes ever few months (rap, reggae, rock). Not any more. Only death metal for me. Its weird, but I can hardly make out any words Nicki saying.

Funny how everyone who loves this album on here doesnt know how to use the shift key. hmmm

I was in the hospital today and during my wait to be discharged, I listened to a few tracks off of We Are Young Money. These included "Ms. Parker," "Finale," and "Steady Mobbin." As I listened closely to these tracks, I once again made a determination: Lil Wayne sucks, and so does his whole Young Money crew.

Before you start hatin' on my so-called hatin', let me explain why I say this.

Lil Wayne can be a dangerous emcee. Listen to "I Feel Like Dying" or "Hustler Music." These both display Lil Wayne's fierce wordplay and unique style. "I Feel Like Dying" is a monster fuckin' track, especially when you're high. Even "A Milli," with its annoyingly catchy beat, has Wayne spitting raw shit.

The problem with Wayne is that he throws away much of his complex lyricism for lazy one- and two-liners (Fuck these niggas/Ima spare everything but these niggas) and simple metaphors (Dear Mr. Toilet, I'm the shit).

Really?

I mean, is that line really a good one? Are any of those lines Wayne spits even deserving of the praise they get? Sure, Wayne's punchlines are funny and ironic, but they are not good. There is nothing original about them. Any thirteen year old lil' nigga could spit some shit like that (Lil Chuckee, lol). And I know muthafuckas get tired of that autotune crybaby shit, with the "Ya diggs" and "Ahhs" and all that fucking shit. And the flow...the flow is just pure garbage.

So it's no wonder that everyone in Young Money, as the house built by Lil Wayne, sounds the same and has the same exaggerated flow as Lil Wayne. Everyone should be able to admit that Young Moneyers ride Wayne's dick when it comes to...well, just about anything. Nicki Minaj is the female version of Wayne, Lil Chuckee is the twelve year old version, and Drake is the Canadian version. All the rest of those niggas I can't even remember because THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME. Nick, Drake, and Chuck are the most distinguishable people on this album (aside from Wayne) because they are a female rapper/cheap ho, a tall, light skinned Canadian t.v. star, and a pre-pubescent boy, respectively.

Now, again, don't get me wrong, I like some of Drake's shit too. Successful is a great cut. Forever is good too, but not nearly as tight as Successful. But Drake is just as unoriginal. He's like Wayne's replacement, because we were all getting tired of hearing Wayne everywhere. Sure, his lyrics might be quotable and make you be like "Oh shit!" when you hear them, but you ain't gonna be reciting this nigga's words in ten years. But I bet you will still say "cream" as a slang word for money (that's a Wu-Tang reference made to point out that the Wu has niggas still using its slang today because it was classic...if you didn't get that, kill yourself :)

Despite what niggas may believe, Lil Wayne is not a "beast." He is not original, and he DAMN SURE AIN'T THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE. Nigga please. Don't even get me started there. The whole Young Money squad is lame, because their only goal is to make club bangers and sing along tracks for their young adult audience. That's all they're capable of. Most of the people who listen to Young Money are teenagers...if you're over the age of 25 and you can quote all of Ms.Parker, kill yourself :)

Young Money is for the kids (whose parents probably wouldn't want them to listen to lyrics like "Flow tighter than a dick in the butt"). Young Money, like all these other niggas you hear who you think are so hot (Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie, and all them other niggas you hear in the club) are not going to make long lasting impressions on hip hop. They will help create new fads, but these fads will be replaced quickly. Hell, it wasn't that long ago that everyone was on Lil Wayne's dick; now everyone's on some Kanye and Kid Cudi emo/David Guetta rap. But that's another story.

P.s. I'm not hating. I listen to Gucci Mane, and Lil Boosie, and Young Money. But the difference between these niggas and classic niggas is that classic niggas created classic shit that they worked on. They were hungry for the music, not the business, not the dancing, not the fame. They created sick ass slang terms and rocked your head with sick beats that took more than five minutes on FL Studio to produce. Biggie Smalls, Nas, the Wu, Outkast, Scarface, N.W.A., Snoop Dogg, etc., etc. all are classic emcees in my opinion. Everyone knows "Gin and Juice." Remember "Brand New" by Lil Wayne? Remember how hot that was when it came out? Who the fuck knows about it now?

And that's my point.
Peace.
