G-Unit has changed over the years. I believe they are still going strong. Banks is a beast he keeps getting better. yayo is a rider his wordplay is improving.they are grimey, caked up and make good music. dre makes some of their beats so its automatically classic music. Fifty has more than just music going on (clothes, music, vitamin water etc.) dip set is just dipset they got that bullshit liquor which is prolly only avaiable in harlem. a shit ass movie (ive seen better on you tube). their best rapper is j.r. writer. everyone else is very overated. the best album that ever came out of dip set was the 1st diplomatic immunity a double cd. which should have been a single cd without all the shitty songs.

cam is doing the smart thing and falling back because 50 embarrassed him with “computers buggidy bootin” line… but u cant deny the dips on the strength that they set trends and the hottest rapper right now(lil wayne) even dresses like them so you have to give cam credit for that but i agree that instead of press releases, g-unit should be leaking music especially since its been a minute since we have heard the whole g-unit ona song. but you have to watch for them roc boys as well…kanye with a successfull album,jay on the way back, freeway and sigel puttin out new music like crazy, 50 has to watch his back again.

Cam’ron has only had a few good verses, and his best verse was in 1995 on “8 Iz Enuff” from Big L’s Lifestyles Ov Da Poor And Dangerouz back when his rap name was Killa Cam. The rest of Dipset isn’t good though Juelz has his moments and Jim had “We Fly High”.

And just because something’s intelligent doesn’t make it nerdy. 1st of all, 50 and G-Unit created space for Dipset to become what they were, so give credit where it’s due. The G-Unit movement influenced alota niggas to put they whole crew on board whenever they got on board. And don’t ever say Lloyd Banks aint talented lyrically cuz he’ll do in most of your favorite rappers, including the entire Dipset Byrdgang movement. I find this a sorta strange idea because if anything hurt 50 down the road it’s oversaturation. He put out so much music and kept trying to repeat the same formula people got tired of his persona. When you have too many hits and too songs out people seem to just get annoyed and start hating you, even if the music you put out isn’t half bad. I remember when Massacure came out and through its run 50 had four songs hit top ten, but “Hustler’s Ambition” (One of his best songs to date) failed to even break top 40.

To further that, after a while the G-Unit mixtape music just got stale. Banks was at one point mixtape artist of the year, and now I can’t stand to hear him rap (I used to be a big fan of his) because his music isn’t as fresh as it once was.

Cam is more responsible for Curtis not selling than Kanye. People were going to buy Graduation anyway. But Curtis actually bought the farm and decided to run with the name he was given by his mom, which Cam used to separate him from his stolen moniker. Plus Curtis didn’t drop one memorable song during the build-up. I refuse to be suckered into buying a musical shit-brick.

And who the fuck wants to buy an album titled “Curtis” that doesn’t end with “Mayfield”?

So I think there’s still room for Cam. But I’d rather be tazed than to buy some shit that sounds like Killa Season. I want P.Haze or S.D.E. at worst. Come correct, Cam. Nolo.
