Everything you said I agree with completely. Black men, and black people in general, have been given a level of expectation that is so low. That’s why there are so many crappy schools in the ghetto;(White) people don’t think we can do any better than the hood, and we don’t reach for anything further than what they give they just put it on “well, they’re just being niggers.” But here is where I think we should rise up, but if you have nothing to rise to then there’s someone else to blame. We (black men) have been discriminated against and done wrong for so long that I think a lot of us are brainwashed into thinking we have no worth.
