I DON’T KNOW IF YOU NOTICED IT BUT THE NEWEST JAY Z SONG IS DONE LIKE THE “SOUL FOOD” SONG FROM TUFF CREW.

Contrary to the XXL magazine report on the production of the newest Jay Z song that is out, this isn’t the first time that the samples of Johnny Pates “Shaft In Africa” and the horns of The Lafayette Afro Rock Bands “Darkest Light” where combined.

The first time these two songs where combined in the form of sampling was 1989 on a song called „Soul Food“ by Philadelphias famous Tuff Crew on their legendary LP „Back to Wreck Shop“.

That song is a pure instrumental track with dope cuts by legendary DJ Too Tuff.

I can overstand that everybody got their own opinion. But the reason get so much RESPECT is because he brings lyricism to the game that has been missing for a long time. ok i heard the few jay-z songs out and if your a jay fan you’ll think they are ok but lets not get super happy cuz he back, treat that song like u would treat any onther rapper that would make a song like that.
