a Yo “E” , imma big blink 182 fan(even got the “buddah” album)but didn’t know how folk would react to that. They somehow became too “TRL”. But they still make good music period. Better than 311 whose about a “quiet”8-9 studio albums deep NO. For hip hop headz, Blink is like my ATCQ to the Leaders of the New School back in the day. IF u said A Tribe called QUest was better, i couldn’ t argue but it was all about LONS. Big ups to the black folk expanding they mind on some other types of music!

What trips me out is how captivated everyone’s minds are by young dro’s cd which talks mostly about flossin and all the cheese he got, and puffy know how to do a great promo job(the new don king)Stop being sheep!!!Learnin need to be a new fad and artist need to keep makin that real shit. Sometimes drug sales pimpin and pandering, and occasional domestic violence is neccessary for rap lyrics because it does depict real life for some individuals, but for others its fabricated stories which dillutes the product as a whole. Its just the way that hip hip glamorizes death is what will be the inevitable end of hip hop. people will evolve and realize one day and say “i don’t have to pick up a gun to settle a feud, im a man and a real man will go toe 2 toe”, “i’m not a video hoe i can earn money without depicting black women ass just ass shakers and superheads” This is our people and our own culture is killing each other. Its just like the nigga sellin crack on the corner, do you wanna be the hand that feeds death or the hand that feeds life? ask yourself then you’ll know if you a real nigga or not. remember, Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished.

you are one ignorante dude. How can you categorize everyone in the south and say we don’t want to hear conscious rappers. NY aint supporting their asses and neither is the west coast. Also, when you say that rappers weren’t doing good, I wouldn’t be so sure because the south is eating from the looks of things. It’s just NY rappers that lost lol. Anytime something bad happens to NY you wanna generalize it by saying the entire hiphop genre. If NY hiphop died don’t say Hiphop died. be sure to specify that shit because like I said homie the south is eating good.And I can see why Young Dro sold more (the nigga’s album is hot). there’s no other way to put it. And the only reason Diddy stayed relevant to hiphop was because of yung joc. Even the west is doing they thing and i hear no hate from them or about them, BUT as soon as they start selling they will catch hate too, just like in the mid 90′s.

Man face it, most of the south shit is trash- Diggy Doc I feel you on Young Joc he is the worst rapper everrrrrrrr. Now you do have a couple of cats like Weezy and Jeezy who are decent, but if you put their lyrics up against say a Fabolous, Weezy and Jeezy are sub par- and the sad thing is they are the South’s great hope. But you know what Bol i’m a 80′s baby and it has always been like this, remember MC Brain’s(Oochie Coochie La La La), Hammer- and they were at their height at the time of the Native Tounge’s movement. There will always be people in the game trying to get fast money with subpar skills- unfortunately for Southern Cats all these people are from your region- Hip Hop will get better- and as was mentioned before the end of this year should be tight.

Ok, I have fully digested this Lupe Fiasco F&L album and I must say, that he is better than i once gave him credit for and i’m in love with his album. His concepts are definitely refreshing as compared to the popular rap thats coming out now. I still dont think that he is lyrically dominant to some other rappers, but his ability to rhyme about the average, normal everyday things and thoughts do seperate him from alot of rappers. My fav songs on the album are Daydreaming, Hurt Me soul and American Terrorist. And I gotcha has grown on me, but thats more because of the beat that P lacced him with, that shit is a head-nodder (no brokeback)
