This is the only site I’m aware of that lists producers as well as “guest MCs or singers” for most rap albums. Also you can add the data for an album not present.

Anyone know of other such sites that are better in this category, or is ProdBy “the GOAT”?

If you can afford a computer, you can’t afford a cd? I don’t get it..I know its not “fun” paying for music but maybe this is why there isn’t great albums out. Artist know people will rip them off so they do a half-ass job hence rap sucks right now

Gay guys rarely have kids, so their disposable income doesn’t get drained like that. Same as well-off double-income single couples – more spending power, hence chased by the advertising dollar, hence punch above their weight in matters of popular culture.

Man Bol, I just cop the CD and rip it. Sometimes they have sales on real old cds that no one buys for like 7 bucks, so I just that up and cop it. Underground classics sometimes go real cheap. I just like have the jacket cover so I can check the production and what not…..Sometimes you have to settle a dispute with your friend from QB about who produced the aint hard to tell beat on Illmatic……

I’ve been using Yahoo Music Unlimited’s subscription service for almost a year.

I’ve bought about 20 songs, downloaded hundreds off of subscription, and I’ve listened to thousands of songs, old and new that I only want to listen to once or twice.

The subscription model works.

The problem with buying music is that it’s just not very feasible economically to buy all of the music you’d ever want to listen to.

With this subscription shit, you don’t have to. It’s like the difference between joining Netflix and buying a new DVD every three days.
