Oprah is old school in that way that gets real ashamed by Negroes who don’t want to turn off the ghetto dialect/stance/profanity when in (racially-mixed) company.

this actually has nothing to do with this particular blog post – but what the fuck is wrong w. hip-hop right now???? look at the top 4 news headlines on this site – they all have to do with seperate shootings – 3 of which involved murders. we all know that hip-hop comes from the streets – but the original idea was to use the music as a way to make lives better – where are the leaders of today?????????????

I agree, she doesn’t have to like HipHop an she doesn’t have to like Luda. What she does have to do if she has the smallest bit of journalistic integrity in her is allow both sides of the story to be heard. I don’t see why there’s this sudden issue with Oprah. So I guess if Oprah started inviting rappers on her show then she would be cool. Please… Oprah can have whomever she wants on her show, and if she doesn’t like Hip Hop then that’s her choice! Believe it or not, not every black person likes Hip Hop. If she were to invite artists like Young Jeezy (Mr Snowman), Rick Ross and Camron on to her show it would be embarassing to watch her tear them to pieces on air and challenge them about their lyrical content.
