Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the web the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they just don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

WELL, I THINK A LOT OF THE HATIN' PEOPLE DOING ON THE SOUTH IS CRAZY EVERYBODY SHOULD SIT BACK AND PAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING AROUND YOU. FIRST OF ALL NO LIMIT WAS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS TO HAPPEN IN RAP. NOW I'M NOT GOING TO SAY EVERYTHING THEY EVER PUT OUT WAS GOOD OR EVEN TOLLERABLE BUT, THE MUSIC ,THE CLOTHING, THE MOVIES , THE JOBS AND DONATIONS TO THE HOOD THAT NO LIMIT AS A COMPANY MADE WAS AMAZING. MASTER P HAS DONATED MORE MONEY TO SCHOOLS THAN ANY OTHER ENTERTAINER IN MUSIC[GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS] NO LIMIT SOLD MORE ALBUMS THAN ROCAFELLA, BAD BOY, DEATH ROW, CASH MONEY AND AFTERMATH COMBINED. [GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS]. I ALSO FOUND OUT THAT BETWEEN 1997 AND 2004 MASTER P MADE 750 MILLION DOLLARS OUT SIDE OF RAP NOW IF I WAS TO GIVE ANY ONE THE TITLE P WOULD BE THE KING OF THE SOUTH. WE ALL KNOW THAT'S NOT FOR HIS RAP SKILLS BUT COME ONE YOU MUST ADMIT HE WAS AND STILL IS ONE RAPS BEST BUISNESSMEN WHO ELSE DO YOU KNOW THAT HAS AVERAGED 100 MIL A YEAR SALARY SINCE STARTING A BUISNESS. TO ANY ONE WHO MIGHT TAKOFFENSE TO MY WORDS DON'T BE MAD AT ME JUST SPEAKING FACTS. OH YEAH, CHAMILLLION IS ONE OF THE BEST RAPPERS OUT PERIOD NOT JUST IN THE SOUTH. HE IS TALENTED HAS GOOD BUISNESS SAVY AND SEEMS TO BE A REAL DUDE. HE SAID SWISHA HOUSE WAS CORRUPT AND NOW THAT MIKE JONES HAS LEFT IT HAS MADE ME REALIZE THAT TIGER,BIGPIC,LILRON,CHAM,MAGNO,MARIO,A.D.,50\50,MIKE JONES, AND EVEN PAUL,A.LEE,AND SLIM HAVE LEFT THIS PEACEFULL HOUSE BEFORE.
first and foremost fuck nav's comments and his shameless promotion of himself wanting to work for xxl. people like him (wanting to cover southern rap) is a horrible idea. first lets look at rap music itself...why do we listen to certain songs when we are in certain moods or different times in our life? it's all about what we relate to. southern rap has been around for a long time just not on a large scale, if you don't feel it don't buy into it cuz it's not for you, or don't knock something if you don't understand it, to do so is ignorance...basically. the music itself is a form of expression, me being from atlanta i know a lot of these artist do certain types of songs because it's what will sell and what the people want. believe me we have all the elements of hip hop, i can't remember a day back in high school where mc's wouldn't battle in the hallways or in the cafeteria. we have open mic night at clubs down here full of mc's with concious lyrics that anybody can relate too the reason you don't know them is because it's not what the mainstream wants to hear from the south, or the artists themselves don't feel like it will sell. but like lupe fiasco said on a mixtape song, it's finally comming back around full circle, back to the lyrics, the south has lyricists, and if lupe is correct than you're a gonna soon see that there's nothing slow about the south, we just talk this way.

To respond to this nonsense would be foolish and I dont associate with fools. Fuck it. The south did not destroy hip hop. A lot of shit did. But people from a certain region and you know where yall from needed an escape goat to explain the decrease in record sells and a loss in popularity in the post grimey late 90's era and the myth began. Its kinda like Germany after WWI. They lost the war and needed a reason why everything was fuck up.They found one the Jews. Well im here to tell Germany has not been the same since and I dont mean in a good way. If that analogy confused you or you dont know what im talking about pick up a book. The South destroyed hip hop. Thats bullshit. Lets address some of the issues. First off all southern rap doesnt talk about the same thing. True alot of what you hear might have similar content but you cant generalize it. And you cant be mad at the south whats played on the radio or what is being bought in the stores. If all southern rap sounds the same than so does all east coast rap. Example--Everybody is talkin about yankee fitted caps moving birds, moving weight, the projects, project bitches the five boroughs and my favorite im the new king of New York. All the same shit. But is that really true?No not all east coast rappers spit that I want to be the next Jay or Biggie bullshit. I know that and so does every other common sense having muthafucka. There are a lot bitter broke non selling rappers who need an excuse other than the true fact that the shit they making aint popping. Let me explain the souths rise. First we huslte down here. I'm from south and a lot of our local rappers have grinded for a while, produce their own beats, did their on marketing and where stacking platinum type paper with no major deals. So when the spotlight hit the south the labels had to fuck with alot of business savy rappers. Also the south likes all types of music, thugged out shit to dance music. We also like music from other regions so its a lot of non hatin in the south. Why do you think the south and other regions get along so well. To be honest I dont know if East Coast Rap will ever return to the status they had during the so called GOLDEN YEARS of rap. All I know is there trying real hard. Good Luck. But Watch out for the Bay them cats is on fire. Knowledge has been brought.

You can't really blame the south for destroying hip-hop. In actuality, rappers from all regions had a hand in destroying hip-hop. The West coast, east coast, mid-west, and the south all had their share in the destruction of hip-hop. The only people you can blame for the way hip-hop is going is the consumer. If the consumer is supporting this garbage artists are putting out, it's on them. I love the south, but I'm going to admit I hate this garbage coming from the south. It kills me to know that this garbage is coming my home. Outkast needs to put out another album quick. Goodie Mob needs to reunite. Eightball and MJG should have never signed with Bad boy. UGK needs to put out an album with the quickness. So does Field Mob because the D4Ls and Dem Franchise Boys are killing us. There are quality southern rappers out there, they're just not being heard.

I'm only going to say this one time and the next time this NORTH VS SOUTH boo sit pops up I'm going to copy & paste.

I, Mr. Holipsism, am into the ART of Hip Hop. I consider Hip Hop an ART FORM. In its purest form there is an Emcee and a DJ. Both require skill and artistry. There have been KEY PEOPLE that have helped elevate the ART of the Emcee and the ART of the DJ in Hip Hop. Not knowing who these people are is equivalent to a guitarist getting into Rock & Roll and then saying Jimi Hendrix & Jimi Page & Jeff Beck & Eric Clapton & Eddie Van Halen are played out and old and irrelevant. It use to confuse me why Hip Hop seems to be the only genre of music that shits on the people that came before them and acts like they just fell out of the sky with a microphone. Now I know why. It's because people don't really consider Hip Hop an art form. This is the KEY reason. If it isn't a art form then it's just a bunch of silly niggas grabbing a mic and saying a bunch of boo-sit over a "tight" beat.

Only a fool would say Hip Hop only exists on the East. Every coast has people with skill and artistry that represent the ART of Hip Hop. So first, I sincerely wish that these clowns who have no interests in the artistry of Hip Hop and the elevation of its form would just SHUT THE FUCK UP and stop acting like they represent Hip Hop in the first place. If you are not building it up you are destroying it. This isn't hatred, this is merely a FACT. If it wasn't for the Bronx New York wouldn't have been at the forefront of the ART. Like it or not, if it wasn't for NEW YORK CITY none of ya'll mothafuckas would have a mic in your hand. This is called giving respect where respect is due. New York has always given love to REAL Emcees. I'm not talking about no fuckin' VJ's or Radio DJ's either. I'm talking about the REAL people of New York who appreciate REAL HIP HOP.

Now...if you feel Laffy Taffy is elevating Hip Hop and if you think it represents The South...you are doing a HUGE disservice to Scarface and Ludacris and Outkast, etc.

For those of you who only see Hip Hop as Hip Pop or Rap, do me a favor...

STOP ACTING LIKE YOU ARE HIP HOP. That is the reason why you get attacked. You are trying to be a part of something you don't give a fuck about and then want to be accepted by the people who love what you don't give a fuck about. How is that EVER gonna happen and the million dollar question is...should it?

P.S. Just to touch on the term G.O.A.T. and the question of who is "the best" emcee. When you discuss an EMCEE the first thing you have to do is ask, "who is the Emcee in question influenced by and how did the Emcee you are discussing either elevate that style or did they created a paradigm shift and new dynamic in how you rock a mic? Also, if you take them out of the history of the Emcee what would be the ramifications if any?"

You can only get the right answers when you ask the right questions.
