UPDATE: Busta Released from Jail, Due in Court Next Week

Busta Rhymes was released from police custody this afternoon following his arrest on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while impaired. According to TMZ.com, Busta was released on 7,500 bail and is expected to be arraigned on the charge next Tuesday, the same day his trial on two charges of assault is set to begin. According to sources, the rapper is said to have told cops that he only consumed one shot of Hennessey before he got into his 2006 Yukon Denali. The official police report notes that Busta failed a field sobriety test, and was then taken to the police station where he was tested again and found to have a 0.067 blood alcohol level. The legal limit in New York State is 0.08.
