Wyclef Jean to Release EP, ‘If I Were President’

The dismissal of his bid for presidency in Haiti does not stop Wyclef Jean as he preps his latest disc, If I Were President: My Haitian Experience. The EP to be released via Columbia Records will include six tracks available for download on December 7.

“Election Time”, the lead single addresses his attempts in his run for president. ‘Clef will be shooting a video for the single directed by Halloun.

After the release Jean is embarking on a world tour for 2011, titled “The Haitian Experience” which includes "the music, the art, the culture and definitely the carnival," according to Wyclef. —Nicki Nahmeanez
