Up-and-coming rapper The Kid Daytona will be coming up to the XXL offices this afternoon (September 2) to show and prove his skills on the mic, on our new show Rhyme Time on XXL’s UStream video series, Channel Live.

The L-R-G MC will kick a few verses and give a brief interview at 4 p.m. EST that will broadcast in real-time on both XXLMag.com and our UStream page. Fans are encouraged to hit @XXLStaff on twitter with their questions for the Bronx rapper.

Daytona—known for his 2008 mixtape, A Tribe Called Fresh, with DJ Cipha Sounds; 2009 mixtape, The Daytona 500, with Mick Boogie; and last year’s free indie LP, Come Fly With Me—is currently prepping his new disc, The Interlude. While still paying his dues, Daytona has already scored collabos with Jim Jones, Bun B and Kidz in the Hall.

Daytona will be following up our last guest on Rhyme Time, Ohio-native Stalley. [Watch here].

Be sure to tune in to Rhyme Time with The Kid Daytona at 4 p.m. EST now. —XXL Staff
