Offset and Cardi B recently linked with Rolling Stone for a romantic photo shoot and cover story, which was released today (June 20). The piece finds the couple gleefully chilling in a mansion, two weeks after Offset's car accident, with Bardi seven-and-a-half months pregnant, preparing for their marriage and birth of their child. The "I Like It" rapper sounds particularly excited for the future, perhaps because her fiance understands that his professional success is not the couple's top priority.

Offset explains, "We really love each other. She's real. I wanted real. I also wanted successful." But, he continues, "My mama was the man of my household. Guys, fellas! You'll lose your wife trying to stop them from being the best they can."

The Migos member exhibits his commitment to Cardi's career in an endearing anecdote about the making of her Invasion of Privacy song, "Best Life," featuring Chance the Rapper. According to Offset, Cardi shies away from soliciting features, so in this case, seeing the song's potential, he took matters into his own hand, calling up Chance himself. "She doesn't want to call and ask, ‘Can you do this song?' You don't think she's shy, but she don't like asking for no feature or no song, nothing. But I don't give a damn."

Elsewhere in the interview, the couple discusses the story of their engagement, their perspectives on parenting, Donald Trump, how they spend their down time and more. Cardi also offers her vision of an ideal baby shower.

"I want a lit baby shower. My baby shower's not starting at no 5:00. My shit is going to start at 9 p.m. because that's how I celebrate, that's how Caribbean people celebrate," she says, laughing. "I don't like baby showers that be at 5 p.m. in the backyard, eating, cooking hors d'oeuvres. Nah. Shit, I might even drink some red wine. Red wine's healthy, right?"

We better get an invite. You can read the full story over at RollingStone.com.
