Kodak Black has been cut some slack in his recent legal issues, as three charges against the Florida native have been dismissed.

News surfaced today (Feb. 22) the State of Florida dropped three charges against him following the home raid that led to his arrest last month. The charges dismissed, which was confirmed by his attorney to TMZ, include possession of a weapon or ammunition by a delinquent, grand theft of a firearm, and child neglect.

According to The Blast, Kodak and his legal team wanted the charges dropped after claiming authorities could not prove that the guns or marijuana in the video were real. They also argue that artists use fake firearms and guns in promotional visuals and music videos all the time.

The charges originally stemmed after Kodak posted footage of himself on Instagram Live that featured some of his entourage members with guns and drugs, as well as the Project Baby 2 entertainer's young son walking into the room. During the raid on Jan. 18, Kodak was taken into custody, and is being held without bail at the moment.

Reports say that he still faces four other charges including marijuana possession and possession of ammunition, and is still locked up for violating his probation.
