Before he dropped his third album, Nothing Was the Same in 2013, Drake told Billboard in an interview that he and 40 had been tailoring their songs to appeal to wide swaths of people. His previous record, Take Care, had spawned with one of its bonus tracks a worldwide phenomenon in the form of "You only live once," or "YOLO." Two years later, it seems as if Drake's music is primed to turn into memes even down to its smallest component parts. A group of enterprising people have taken it upon themselves to turn "Jumpman," a song from Drizz and Future's What a Time To Be Alive, into a video game in the vein of the iPhone favorite Doodle Jump. The game can be played here; this author's high score through two attempts was 4,194. If that's not enough, how about a version of the song where the titular word is repeated for almost 45 minutes?

Drake has continued his pop chart dominance this year; his February surprise mixtape, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, has already been certified platinum. A proper follow-up to Nothing Was the Same, titled Views From the 6, is expected imminently. Much of his summer was swallowed by a much-publicized beef with Meek Mill, which yielded the Canadian a hit in the diss track "Back To Back." What a Time To Be Alive was Future's fourth record this year, following a string of creatively and commercially successful releases, including a #1 album in July's Dirty Sprite 2.
