Waka Flocka Flame Faces the Feds in “Workin” Video

Last year, Freddie Gibbs lifted the famous home invasion tracking shot from True Detective's first season for his "On Some G Shit" video. Always one to up the ante, Waka Flocka Flame returns today (Sept. 24) with a gripping set of visuals for his new single, "Workin." There are guns, battering rams and enough unadulterated rage to muscle both out of the frame. The song will appear on the rapper's forthcoming Flockaveli 2, the follow-up to his seminal 2010 album that encapsulated the Lex Luger sound of the day. "Workin" comes in stark contrast to most of Flocka's recent output, which has followed his move toward the EDM tour circuit. This past week, the rapper came under fire for controversial comments he made about transgendered people. He later clarified those comments, citing his fatherhood and concern for children.
